Rhinebeck Sweater – Black Walnut Pippin

I test knit two sweaters from Ysolda’s new book “The Rhinebeck Sweater.” The first one was Gudrun’s Pippin. I love this sweater and it’s perfectly cozy and an all around great fall sweater.

Smiles for a lovely sweater

I purchased the yarn for it at Rhinebeck last year. I knit mine in Green Mountain Spinnery’s Wonderfully Woolly. They’ve discontinued Wonderfully Woolly and brought it back as Weekend Wool. It’s a lovely yarn.

Yay for my Rhinebeck sweater.

I knit the 36″ body and 38″ arms and I also lengthened the torso a bit. For the placement of the pockets I might’ve run around the TNNA show floor and asked folks for their opinions. I rather like where the pockets ended up. 🙂

You can see me running around Rhinebeck wearing this one this year and all fall! 🙂

There was something funny

I am sure something funny was said.
