BYOB Knit Night

One of my local yarn shops has instituted a BYOB Knit night on one Wednesday a month. πŸ™‚ Tonight was the night so I trekked on over there where we got to hang, do some knitting and some people partook in the spirits. I did not because I didn’t have anything portable to consume. πŸ˜‰ I actually ran into a lady I went to high school with which was a fun coinky-dink. That’s one of those things that happens now that I live closer to where I grew up.

I worked on Vivian, tonight. I was chattering away too much and not paying a bit of attention to the pattern. When I realized that, I ripped out seven rows and then put the decreases where they belonged and then all was well. I am working on the left sleeve now which is slightly out of order with the pattern. See on the first sleeve I crossed a cable wrong three times and figured well whatever I will just make this one the right sleeve. πŸ™‚ I walked around the house today and I found about 9 of the balls of yarn that I am using for this sweater which means that I have about 11 knit into the sweater now. Hooray! The complete sweater calls for 16 balls so I am over the halfway point. In fact if I don’t do the hood I will be even closer to the finish. For those of you on the edge of your seats I am strongly leaning toward no hood. πŸ™‚ Only time will tell.

I think the next time I go to the BYOB knit night I will have to find a B to BYO so I can partake in the spirits as well! πŸ˜€
