I accomplished a great feat this weekend. I cast on an item on Friday evening and finished knitting it Sunday evening. I have a couple little seaming things to do tonight (hopefully that will include my mother teaching me to chain) and then it will be complete. Alas, it is a gift, one that knit up a whole heck of a lot faster than I intended – US 15 needles and yarn held double, who knew? – so I can not show you any pictures. Please just join me in my victory dance.
The wall we were spackling on Friday belongs to one of our closets. We are putting in shelves and double hanging in most of them. I am hoping to have all four of them done by this coming Sunday. Here’s to hoping. 🙂
