This morning the boy and I headed downtown for a second year of Thunder Alley. We didn’t ride the bike because it looked like rain was immenient. Even though our shirts said that we were “Tough enough to care” we’re not tough enough to ride in the rain. (Especially when there is another 3 hrs on the road to come later in the day.) I have to say, if you ever get the chance you should partake in some portion of the Race for the Cure. I had forgotten how emotional it is for me but it all came back to me quickly as I fought to hold back tears at least 4 times when the bulk of the racers started to come past us. I think we will be adding this event to our calendar permanently. Pictures below. Maybe we’ll see you out there next year?
