Eye Candy Friday – Banyan

Sooooooooo I wasn’t s’pose to buy any yarn until my birthday unless it included using gift certificates I had. However, while I was distributing Sticks N Stitches fliers to the local yarn shops I found this yarn in the 50% off room of Temptations. Well, I mean it was a cold snowy day in January and this yarn is wonderfully beachy and it jumped off the shelf whispering promises of warm summers and bikinis. I mean the colorway is “Lagoon!” Basically I was helpless. I was good though and that’s the only time I have fallen down since taking the oath. I have been perusing my copy of Sexy Little Knits by Ashley Paige looking for the right bathing suit. If you have any recommendations let me know. I will say I am trying to figure out how to make some of the bottoms “fuller” they look a bit skimpy on the models. But maybe they’re not actually the right size for the models? Anyway, why am I rambling? On with the pictures!
