I cast on for the Ravelympics today at 8am. Ripped out at 845 am. Re cast-on. Yanked the needle out and threw the yarn in a corner around 9am. Then picked it back up during my lunch break, picked up my stitches reknit two rows and things started going better.
In the evening I attended Team KnitGang’s opening ceremony event. Then most of the team scooted out to the lake for the weekend. I came home and watched the rest of the ceremony with the boy. I managed to walk in as one of the countries of his ancestry were filing in. 🙂 It’s kind of fun to recognize the colors that I often see in some of his family’s belongings.
