Yarn Candy Friday

1

February 8, 2008 by littlewit

I made the boy a neckwarmer to wear while riding his motorcycle during the chilly months of riding season. It was a little “uninspired” but got the job done. Then I went to knit night and saw Dharma working on a fabulous neckwarmer out of very nice merino yarn. I stalked her projects on Ravelry and snagged the pattern from Hello Yarn and the yarn from Yarn and Needle in Centerville. I never believed that quick knits existed but this one, it knit up in less than 3 football games. (Gotta love New Year’s day bowl games!) Alas, this yarn is being discontinued. While canvassing the LYSs to hang Sticks N Stitches fliers I scooped up some of this yarn, because really it’s just lovely crack and I am sure I will think of something thrilling to make with it. I mean I am going to need a neckwarmer to wear under my helmet too! So without further ado I give you yummy crack!

Funny side note: I was talking about this yarn at the Knitting Guild and called it crack, they thought I said crap… I would never call this crap! Perhaps I should work on my enunciation. :)
