Monday night I started on a jacket for my niece. I bought some lovely Claudia Hand Painted Fingering in Jill’s Pink from KnittyNutHouse when she was de-stashing. The original intent was to make a Baby Surprise Jacket however my niece will be one in April and I couldn’t figure out how to size up the sweater using fingering weight yarn. After much debate I settled upon the Jacket with Seed Stitch Bands by Debbie Bliss. The pattern can be found in her book Baby Knits for Beginners. I am really liking how the back is looking thus far. All 3 inches of it. 🙂
