Neckwarmer – Attempt #2

2

January 3, 2008 by littlewit

At knit night a few weeks Dharma brought this lovely Rio De La Plata yarn and showed the fantastic neckwarmer she was making with it. So I went and bought the yarn tout de suite and as soon as I finished my gift knitting, cast it on. Not only was this a super quick knit, but it was also my introduction into the world of cables. Guess what? Not a very scary world at all. HelloYarn’s directions were very explicit and I had no trouble following the pattern. The cables turned out quite nicely and the boy thinks that this neckwarmer may be the one. At least he thinks it will be snugger than the last one. Works for me!

Not too shabby for my first cable project. :)

Yeah! I am so glad you found it a good knit. Made second one for TGF. So fast!

They are fast! And to think that I didn’t believe quick knits actually existed. :)
    I stand corrected.
