Sticks ‘n Stitches has set a date
I just got off the phone with Clint from sales at the Columbus Blue Jackets. He said it’s a go for the Sun Feb 10 game against the LA Kings. Puck drops at 6pm. I am uber nervous about setting this all up.
Depending on our numbers (100+ people), we may be able to have the Sky Terrace otherwise we will be in section F in the Upper Level [read safety concerns for folks looking DOWN during a hockey game!] I am trying to keep the tickets at or below the $25 mark. Does that seem reasonable?
Feb 9th is my birthday so he said we could do the “Birthday Bash” package which would include a Blue Jackets hat, hot dog and Pepsi for everyone. We may also be able to get Stinger to come up and hang out. I am still trying to keep us in the mid $20 range. I told him that $35/ ticket may keep out casual folks who would be going more for the social event than the actual game ![]()
Also, I need to contact Interweave about whether they can do some kind of goody bag like they did for the Avalanche and to see what else I need to do on their end. I also need to look into sponsorship from LYS in Columbus…so much to do!
Please give me feed back. The more people I can tell them we *definitely* have on board the more we may be able to get out of it.

ah, awesome!
I need to chat up the Caps about this — I know a couple of the guys in the front office but haven’t talked to anyone about it yet.

oh, what fun! do you think they (interweave) would do this for AHL teams? the bruins are a bit too expensive for me.

I think that Interweave would be open to the idea of AHL teams. Use their online comment form to send them a request for your team. They were very quick in getting back to me although I do know that my contact is out of the office through Thursday of this week. Hope that helps!
