so guess who just got back from DC last night? Yep that’s right! It was me! and aside from the weird dream involving that lion still roaming free (only this time it was in Worthington and ruining my slumber parties…) I am totally excited about moving out to DC. even if I have to go alone cause I’m having trouble getting a hold of my roomie. because wow! it’s just great and I loved it and I can’t wait to go back to visit. So I need to set up some more interviews so that I can go out and stay with Whitney and Dwayne again. They’re my new family out there in DC brought to me courtesy of my wonderful next door neighbour Crystal (it’s her sister and brother-in-law) oh and I’m also going to try to convince Crystal to move out there with me. It’s not working so well at the moment but I’m at least gunning to see if I can get her to visit. Then maybe she’ll be hooked like I was! But anywho I’m just pumped about finding a job and moving out there. I will update more later. Just wanted to give a quick shout out as to what’s goin on in my life! :o)
Well well well my pretties, it turns out that I don’t update this nearly enough, especially considering the amount of time I spend in front of this machine trying to find a job. But I s’pose that’s exactly why…because I’ve been spending most of my time looking for a job. I’ve been trying to find a job here in the C-bus for the summer as well as trying to find a full time job in DC for you know after the summer when my roomie finishes her internship and we can wander that way together. I almost had a job here when I applied to a bartending position at a country club…but I had too many things I need to take off for so she gave the job to someone with less time commitments. Meh, what’s a girl to do? And I was under the impression that prostitution was illegal but there are all kinds of escort services posted in the classifieds…what’s up with that? So if anyone knows anyone who may be in need of a receptionist for the summer. Holla back cause I can definitely handle that, or cocktail waitressing or bartending…really anything that will allow me time off to go to the wedding in July. Ha! speaking of the wedding in July…what’s up with people thinking they can run around on you and that all of a sudden you’re gonna want to spend time with them? Yeah I don’t know either.
In other news, we redid the floor in my sister’s room. It looks nice all faux hardwood and whatnot. But seriously a lot better than the worn out carpet that was in there before. Oh and I’m still working on cleaning my room. In fact after I finish this thing up I’m going to go mow the lawn, then shower and then I’m gonna plop myself down in my room to begin sifting through clothes again…it turns out I don’t actually wear some of my clothes so I’m gonna try and dispose of them at the garage sale. And then I need to put the rest of them away so that I may find them when I’m trying to get dressed for interviews and stuff. Yep Yep. Oh and my parents are going out of town on Saturday. So it’ll just be me, all alone here by myself in this house looking for jobs and cleaning. So if anyone wants to swing by let me know! Plenty of room for everyone…just give me a days heads up if you wanna sleep here cause I may have to you know change sheets…my brothers like never change their sheets…it’s kinda gross. But I s’pose that’s all the news for now. I will try to write more often so that you all may be kept abreast of my frightfully boring life. Until next time I bid you adieu!

Hiya everyone. It’s ok I am officially back and in the game. Or something…anyways! I graduated from undergrad at the Ohio University last Saturday June 12, 2004. So I am officially done with school forever…or until I decide to go back to grad school. I am presently unemployed (*tear) and looking to find a job somewhere out there perhaps even over the rainbow. Hopefully I can find something by next week but in the mean time I shall spend this week cleaning and organizing the house and my room and now the garage since that’s where all of my boxes went. My dear friend Laura who I have known since we were in the second grade and went to KinderCare daycare and Brookside Elementary together will also be graduating next semester from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. So to celebrate we are having a garage sale! That’s right. We’re holding a garage sale to sell off all of the wonderful things we have collected in our various homes over the past umm well let’s we’re 22 so the last 22 years! That should be fun. So I have to do some extra hard cleaning to get ALL of my crap organized and I really need to hit that garage and get the school stuff organized neatly so that I can just move it directly into my new apartmentwith no trouble. Whenver I get that apartment which won’t be until I find a job…and the vicious circle continues.
In other ecstatic news I bought myself one fine 2001 Honda Civic EXS yesterday! Score! I now have my very own automobile and I have driveway parking privileges! hehe. That’s due to the large amount of teenage drivers on the street. Daddy doesn’t want my car getting hit by one of them so I get to park in the driveway! Score one for the home team! So if you’d like to see my titanium beauty please feel free to give me a holla or stop by my folks place.
